I am the Peace and Freedom Party nominee for Lieutenant Governor. However, I, and Debra Reiger our candidate for State Treasurer, were at the protest last Wednesday, as was Carlos Alvarez. About 100 of us went inside and gathered at the rotunda where we sang songs. It was declared an illegal assembly so we marched to the Governor's office and left black roses at his doorway. The drug abuse folks then delivered some 10,000 letters to the mail room. This followed another demostration on August 18, where 22 people, eight in wheelchairs, were arrested. I was one of the 22.C.
